Conference Location

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) is the primary land grant university of Virginia. The university is nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of southwestern Virginia in Blacksburg, which is about 45 minutes from a full-service airport in Roanoke, Virginia. Recreational activities abound on (gym, pools, golf, tennis, etc.) and very near (scenic hiking, swimming/boating/tubing on New River) the campus.

The conference will be held on the campus of Virginia Tech. More information will be posted in the future regarding exact room locations, etc.

Conference Lodging

Lodging rooms are being held at the Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn. Please be sure to mention the name of the conference to insure the conference rate. All participants are responsible for their own lodging accommodations and travel arrangements. All of these hotels (with the possible exception of Hilton Garden Inn) are within easy walking distance to conference location and they ALL have shuttle buses as well.
